Bobby Cocktail Recipe

2 tsp. orange juice
2 tsp. lemon juice
2 tsp. simple syrup
2 oz. heavy cream

Fill a shaker with 1 cup of cracked ice. Add ingredients. Shake very well until the beverage is very cold and the ice just starts to melt. Strain the ice as you pour into a glass. This beverage is perfect for cosmopolitan glasses or martini glasses.

Simple Syrup is used in many beverage recipes, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic. It's a snap to make. Using simple syrup rather than sugar in your beverages eliminates the possibility of grainy sugar in the beverage or the sugar settling to the bottom of the glass.

Simple Syrup Recipe

1 cup sugar
1 cup water

Mix ingredients in a saucepan. Cook and stir over medium high heat. Make sure that you incorporate the sugar crystals that cling to the side of the saucepan. Bring to a full boil. Cool before using. May be made ahead of time. Can be stored in the refrigerator for one to three weeks.
